How your data moves
Security & Data
Runrate uses Plaid to pull the balances and transactions you approve into your forecast. Read-only means no transfers, no withdrawals, no bill payments, and no changes at your bank.
Plaid
Your forecast
- Transfers
- Payments
- Withdrawals
- Bank changes
Read means read
Runrate can read approved data. It cannot move money.
The connection has one job: make your forecast less manual. The money movement side of Plaid is out of scope for Runrate.
Runrate can receive
- Selected account details
- Current and available balances
- Transaction history and updates
Runrate cannot
- Initiate transfers or withdrawals
- Pay bills or make purchases
- Change an account held at your bank
Separate responsibilities
